Reading Groups for the New Year

Everyone wants a healthy start to the New Year and that usually involves making resolutions. But how about making 2017 the year you join one of Festival Bloomsday Montréal’s reading groups?

Don’t let the winter stop you, sign up! All you need is a copy of the book and an open mind.

A Resolution You Can Keep

This year Festival Bloomsday Montréal is happy to present a brand new reading group of James Joyce’s Ulysses.

The group will have its inaugural meeting Thursday January 19th 2017 at 7pm. The meeting will be held at The School of Canadian Irish Studies at Concordia, in the Hall Building, 1455 de Maisonneuve W. Floor 10 Room 1001, in the The McEntee reading room. This group will last until our Bloomsday festivities of 2017.

This group meets twice monthly. Don’t forget to bring your copy of Ulysses. Open to the public.

A Long Dream

Naturally, our voyage hrough Finnegans Wake continues. The boaters and sifters of ALP will continue to meet on the third Wednesday of every month at the Westmount library’s Westmount room.

Meetings begin at 7pm and end at 8:30.

Our first meeting of the year is on Wednesday, January 18th and we will set sail from page 23.

New members welcome.
